MISSION

To support the efforts of Junior Achievement of Tampa Bay through financial efforts via fundraising or other financial resources, volunteer recruitment and awareness.

DESCRIPTION

The JA Connections Board consists of individuals recognized as leaders and emerging leaders within both the business and education communities by supporting Junior Achievement’s programs through fundraising and volunteer activities.

GOALS

To raise dollars through our existing JA Bowl, corporate gifts, special events, and support new fundraising events.

Recruit and retain classroom volunteers for special education events and traditional JA classroom activities.

Promote awareness of Junior Achievement programs within the business and education communities.

JA Disco Bowl Kick off - Pinellas County - July 28th at Raymond James from 12:00PM -1:00PM
JA Disco Bowl Kick off - Hillsborough County - July 29th at JA Biz Town from 12:00PM -1:00PM

Various fall fates available for the Hillsborough County or Pinellas County JA Disco Bowl

September 30th - Annual Board Meeting, 8:00AM at JA Biz Town

Fall: Volunteer Recruitment - Pinellas and Hillsborough Lunch and Learn Event - the intent is for the
JA Connections Board to recruit new companies inviting them to the event to learn about JA’s programs and encourage them to volunteer. Date is TBD

October 7th - Hillsborough Diploma-see Day.

October 23rd - JA at PUSH Ultra Lounge in St. Petersburg - the Bobby Pastorius Band performing for friends of JA. Free Admission - $1.00 of every drink goes to JA
