A capital campaign for JA Finance Park presented by SunTrust has topped the $6 million mark. Junior Achievement of Tampa Bay used a complex New Markets Tax Credits financing facility that bridged pledges to date with tax equity, to get a $1.4 million benefit, a press release said.

Fidelity Investments Partners with JA of Tampa Bay to create storefront at Muma JA BizTown
Students will no longer have to imagine what it would be like to run a Fidelity Investor Center; they’ll actually get to experience it. In this simulated city, students will follow a series of classroom activities learning about businesses and jobs at Muma JA BizTown at the Bill Poe Family JA Center.

Junior Achievement of Tampa Bay announced that it has received a grant in the amount of $17,000 to fund JA programming. The grant from State Farm Insurance is to support the implementation for financial literacy for low to moderate income youth.

JA Be Entrepreneurial

JA Be Entrepreneurial challenges students, through interactive classroom activities, to start their own entrepreneurial venture while still in high school. The program provides useful, practical content to assist teens in the transition from being students to productive, contributing members of society. (Grades 9-12)
